Jim Morgan
Owner/Craftsman
Jim Morgan resides in Winston Salem, NC with his wife Mary Jane. He started MorganWoodworking in 2024 creating high end, custom cabinetry, furniture and homewares, including Wine Cellars and Adirondack chairs crafted from wine barrels, epoxy river tables, library walls and one of a kind art.
Jim is a wine and bourbon aficionado. He throws an accurate dart and enjoys the Baltimore Orioles, Pittsburgh Steelers, turkey hunting, playing guitar and his shop hound Palmer.
Palmer
Chief Canine Officer
Palmer (named after Oriole great Jim Palmer) was rescued about 10 years ago at the age of 1. I thought I could use a pet for company while working from home. Morning walks seemed like a good idea to expend some of his energy. Little did I know it would become a nonnegotiable daily routine rain or shine that must take place by 9am. I owe much of my good health to the persistence of Palmer aka Harry. He is often found sleeping on Big Joe in the shop as I work.
